Terms of Service

1. What SlabScan does

SlabScan reads photos and videos of trading cards you upload and shows estimated prices based on past sales collected from third parties. Prices are estimates, not appraisals or offers to buy. Card identification and prices can be wrong. Check the linked sales before you buy, sell or insure a card.

2. Your account

You need an account to use SlabScan. Keep your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. One account per person.

3. Payment

Access requires a one-time payment shown at checkout, plus any sales tax that applies to your location. Payments are processed by Square. The payment gives you access to SlabScan for as long as we offer the service. It is not a subscription and is not a purchase of any lasting right to the service. Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or where we choose to issue a refund.

4. Changes, suspension and ending the service

We may change, limit, suspend or stop SlabScan, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. We may also suspend or close any account at any time. If we stop the service, we are not required to issue refunds, except where the law requires it. We will try to give you a chance to export your reports first, but we do not promise to.

5. Your uploads

You keep ownership of the photos and videos you upload. You give us permission to store and process them to run SlabScan for you. Only upload content you have the right to share. Each account has a storage limit, and you can delete your original files at any time.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not try to get around the payment, storage limits or access controls.
• Do not upload unlawful content or content unrelated to trading cards.
• Do not scrape, overload or reverse engineer the service.
• Do not resell access or reports as your own service.

7. No warranty

SlabScan is provided as is and as available. We do not promise it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error free, or that your data will never be lost.

8. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including losses from buying, selling or valuing cards based on SlabScan. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using SlabScan after an update, the new terms apply.
