Privacy Policy

Last updated October 23, 2026

This policy explains what SlabScan collects when you use slabscan.app and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google.
  • Your uploads: photos and videos of cards, still frames taken from videos, and the reports we create from them.
  • Payment details: Square handles your card. We do not see or store your full card number. We keep the payment ID, amount, tax and postal code needed for our records.
  • Basic technical data: logs such as request times and errors, used to keep the service running.

How we use it

To sign you in, run your scans, show your reports, process payment, keep records for tax, prevent abuse and fix problems. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

  • Square, to process payments.
  • Google (Gemini), which reads card images to identify them.
  • Firecrawl, which fetches public price pages. Only card names and numbers are sent, not your images.
  • Our hosting and email providers, which store data and send sign-in codes.
  • Authorities, if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and reports while your account exists. You can delete original uploads at any time from your storage list. If we stop the service or you ask us to close your account, we delete your data within a reasonable time, except payment records we must keep for tax and accounting.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing hello@mostlyapps.com. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law.

Children

SlabScan is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
